In February 1976, Gordon and Peggy designed the world premier staging of "The Last Unicorn" by Peter S. Beagle. On opening night, their first child, Joshua Hayes, was born. Gordon and Peggy Hayes create one-of-a-kind soft sculpture dragons, horses and unicorns. All pieces are designed and handmade by the artists. Each creation is poseable, allowing you to change the attitude of the companion you have chosen to purchase. The sculptures are truly a collaborative affair based on years of refining construction techniques and conceptual ideas. The goal is to produce sculptures that are truly the "closest thing to alive!" The Hayes' call their art form Interactive Soft Sculpture.
